Storm is a collection of FIRST Robotics teams participating in both the FIRST Robotics Competition and the FIRST Tech Challenge
Storm 4107 inc. was founded in 2012 with the purpose of supporting and expanding access to robotics competition programs and STEAM education to the people of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. It is our objective to facilitate and foster a culture of innovation and creativity in the Mississippi Gulf Coast region.
We believe that by empowering people with the skills, knowledge, and access to resources to pursue their own interests and passions they will utilize this agency to not only improve their own lives, but the world around them as well.
By instilling the above in those we work with we make them valuable assets within any enterprise they associate themselves with.
What is FIRST?
FIRST, which means “For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology,” is a non-profit organization for high school students. The intent of FIRST is “to create a world where science and technology are celebrated… where young people dream of becoming science and technology heroes…” -Dean Kamen (Founder of FIRST).
